PBAT is a thermoplastic biodegradable plastic. It is a copolymer of butylene adipate (BDO), adipic acid (AA), terephthalic acid (PTA) or terephthalate (DMT) as raw materials and is prepared by direct esterification or transesterification. It has the characteristics of PBA and PBT. According to the source of raw materials, PBAT belongs to petrochemical-based biodegradable plastics.
PBAT is a semi-crystalline polymer, usually the crystallization temperature is around 110 ℃.
